Engineering is a global profession. As a student in the College of Engineering, an experience abroad will undoubtedly expand your perspective on the engineering profession and the world around you. While UNO provides many opportunities to travel and study abroad, the College of Engineering has arranged several engineering-related opportunities for you to pursue. While we encourage students to learn as much of the native language of the country they’re visiting, all current engineering-specific abroad experiences are taught in English. By taking advantage of studying abroad, you’ll have the opportunity to:
  • Grow personally
  • Find new interests you never knew you had
  • Interact with peers from a different culture
  • Uniquely position yourself in your job search.
To determine whether an experience abroad is consistent with your personal and career goals, please schedule an appointment with your Academic Advisor via MavTrack
