Yajaira Lopez-VillaAcademic Advisor
Pronouns: She / Her / Hers / Ella
I serve as an Academic Advisor on the Lincoln City Campus. I am here to assist with scheduling, academics, and helping you connect to the proper resources. I encourage you to meet with me at least once a semester to discuss registration, but you can meet with me more and utilize me as a resource on-campus. Keeping your academics in mind, we can also discuss balancing employment and involvement opportunities, pursuing education aboard experiences, and deciding if dropping or adding a class is right for you, and more!
Prior to joining the ESS team, I worked as a Graduate Assistant with Iowa State University. I taught a first-year seminar, academic coaching, and coordinated programing. I am looking forward to working with you!
M.Ed., Student Affairs, Iowa State University – May 2021
