This session will cover everything you need to know to get started in Qualtrics. You will learn how to claim your university Qualtrics account, build a survey using common item types, adjust key survey settings, and share your survey.

Basic Survey Customization

As a follow-up to Getting Started with Qualtrics, this session will teach you how to customize features of basic item types, format item text, require items, set response validation, and use display and skip logic. Prior attendance at Getting Started with Qualtrics is not required but is recommended for anyone new to Qualtrics.

Advanced Survey Customization

In this session, we will build on Basic Survey Customization as we cover advanced question types, text piping, blocks and survey flow, and response recoding. Prior experience with Qualtrics or prior attendance at Basic Survey Customization is recommended. 

Other Useful Features of Qualtrics

In this session, we will cover a variety of other good-to-know features and functions in Qualtrics including setting a custom end-of-survey message, sharing a survey with collaborators, closing and later reactivating a survey, exporting and importing qsf files (Qualtrics survey files), downloading data and options for doing so, and viewing and exporting individual responses.

Qualtrics Directories, Libraries, and Workflow

In this session for aspiring power-users, we will cover using directories to distribute your survey, making use of your Qualtrics Library, and setting up workflows. Substantial prior experience with Qualtrics or attendance at prior sessions is strongly recommended.
