The College of Engineering Learning Spaces provides comprehensive Audio-Visual (AV) support for classroom technology. This service offers technical assistance for equipment like projectors, microphones, and podiums during weekdays (8 AM–5 PM) and limited weekend hours. Faculty, staff, and students can request support, but services are limited to equipment operation and do not include repairs, presentation creation, or network issues.

Requests should be made in advance, as last-minute assistance is subject to staff availability.

A separate guide focuses on teaching in the technologically advanced, active-learning classrooms of Kiewit Hall. These rooms are designed for collaboration and can all function as distance classrooms. Instructors are advised to prepare by ensuring they can access university systems like Canvas and Office 365 on the classroom PC or by bringing their own device with the necessary adapters. Key responsibilities include setting up Zoom meetings for distance classes and familiarizing oneself with the room's features to share content and manage hybrid interactions effectively.

The guide emphasizes that while the technology is robust, instructors should reach out for pedagogical and technical support to fully leverage the classroom capabilities for an effective teaching experience.
