The Researching Ethical AI in Computing, Technology, and Engineering (REACT-E) research lab explores the challenges and opportunities that Generative AI brings to engineering education. As part of this mission, we recently developed statistically validated protocols to deeply analyze faculty perspectives on using Generative AI tools for teaching and learning in Colleges of Engineering created with Engineering, Computing, and Construction fields in mind.
Currently, we are expanding this research beyond the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and would like to invite you to contribute and collaborate with us. Given our existing domestic and international partners, we believe your institution would be a great addition.
There are two distinct pathways with various time or effort investments:
1. Data Partners
You would help by sharing our invitation with instructors in your college. The invitation includes a link to our survey and an option to participate in an online interview. Your role is simply to distribute this invitation. In return, you will receive quarterly updates and access to analyzed data from your institution.
2. Research Partners
In addition to all the benefits of data partners, research partners take a more active role by joining regular research meetings, contributing to data collection, co-authoring manuscripts, and presenting at conferences.
