Laser extreme manufacturing technology & equipment; Cross-scale laser micro/nano machining; Optical system design; 3D printing of metal.

Biography:

Ph.D. in Physical Electronics with 8+ years R&D experience in laser extreme manufacturing technology and equipment. Multidisciplinary expertise and background for both optical and electronic engineering, laser material processing, machine design, hardware & software development, and system integration. Familiarity with laser material processing technologies from nano to macro scale. Professional in laser processing equipment developing and optical system design. Experience in numerical simulation for optical system analyzing and laser-matter interactions using MATLAB, MAPLE, ZEMAX and finite element analyses software ANSYS. Over 5 years of thermal-stress simulation analysis experience.
