Bio:

MD MOHAIMINUL HAQUE (Member, IEEE) was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2014. From 2014 to 2015 he served as an Assistant Engineer in in Research and Development (R&D) department of Energypac Engineering Limited, which is the largest transformer manufacturer company in Bangladesh. There his core responsibility was to perform total electrical design for both power and distribution transformers as per customer requirement. Later in 2016, he joined North-West Power Generation Company Limited (NWPGCL), a government owned company which is the largest power generation entity in Bangladesh producing almost 3100 MW countrywide. There he served at different power plants for almost 06 years. His research interests include Power Electronics, Power Systems, Smart Grid/ Micro Grid, Electric Machines and Renewable Energy. He is currently enrolled as a graduate research assistant at College of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, NE, USA. He is a registered engineer at the Institute of Engineers’ Bangladesh (IEB) and a member of Power America.
