Youssef holds an esteemed bachelor's degree with honors in Energy and Renewable Energy Engineering from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. His academic journey was distinguished by a scholarship program implemented in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), managed by the American University in Cairo (AUC), and fully funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Additionally, Youssef holds a dual bachelor's degree from the University of East London (UEL).
