The Environmental Quality and Communities Lab focuses on the behavior of biologically-active contaminants primarily in agroecosystems. Our research focuses on understanding the fate of emerging environmental pollutants including pesticides, microplastics, prions and pharmaceuticals in soil and water to improve human and environmental health.
