Post Doctoral Engineering Assistant
University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Hello, I’m Josephus Borsuah a Postdoctoral Engineering Assistant with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and I hold a Ph.D. degree in Hydrology from UNL. My research interests are in understanding the fate and transport mechanisms of contaminants of emerging concern in urban and agricultural dominated environment. I was born and raised in Sierra Leone, West Africa, where I acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Chemistry. Being a member of Environmental Quality & Communities Research Lab is an opportunity for me to learn new technics, tools, and methods, which overall contributes to career advancement.
Meredith Sutton

Meredith Sutton

Graduate Student - PhD
University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Meredith is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Environmental Engineering. Her research explores the presence of microplastic pollution in agricultural watersheds and the impact of microplastics on the movement of nitrogen in constructed wetland environments. In 2022, Meredith received her Master’s in Environmental Engineering from UNL. Before coming to Nebraska, she earned her B.S. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in environmental and water resources from the University of Virginia. Meredith is an NSF GRFP recipient and is a part of the AGU Voices for Science program.
