After spending the first 17 years of my life in Omaha, I've made the short trek to Lincoln, Nebraska to pursue my degree in mechanical engineering. My passion for math and science and desire to solve pressing problems in our environment attracted me to UNL's College of Engineering and the amazing work Kiewit has done and plans to do. In high school, the opportunity of serving as president of NHS and an executive on Student Council gave me many unique experiences that taught me a lot about leadership, including organizing blood drives with the Red Cross. I also thoroughly enjoyed staying active with the dance, cheer and tennis teams during high school, as well as keeping my hands busy with jewelry making and colored illustrations in my spare time!
