I am from Castle Rock, Colorado, where I have lived the majority of my life. In high school, I was a competitive gymnast, where I served as team captain for three consecutive seasons. I also had the opportunity to serve on two trips where I went to Kenya and aided women and children diagnosed with HIV, along with going to Missouri to be a camp counselor for kids with special needs. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, serving in my community, and traveling. I intend to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering to do city development in third-world countries post-graduation. Through the Kiewit Scholars program, I look forward to the practical skills learned in becoming an engineer, along with the internship and study abroad opportunities.
