I am from Freeman, South Dakota, about three and a half hours from Lincoln. Here, I am pursuing a degree in Construction Engineering. In high school I was heavily involved in agriculture through my local FFA chapter, where I served as president. My passion for construction engineering originated from my love of math and science and flourished when I was able to contribute to my dad’s construction business. Being involved in construction from such a young age helped me to be confident in my choice that construction is the correct path for me.
