I'm from Elkhorn, Nebraska, but I have practically grown up in Lincoln, going down for every football or basketball game, no matter the day of the week. I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that be observing the scenery or exploring new terrain. I have spent the majority of my life running, biking, skiing, or hunting in areas where nature is at its peak. In high school, I had opportunities to be involved in Unified Sports, both participating in and advocating for the program; a student-led nonprofit food assistance organization in the Omaha metro; Investment Club, where I served as Vice President; and athletics, including golf, cross country, and track. Through these experiences, I learned how to lead others with an open heart and create welcoming environments within different communities. I am ecstatic to build a strong foundation through the Kiewit Scholars Program's internship network, along with opportunities to visit active project sites. I intend to major in Civil Engineering and pursue a career as a field engineer.
