I was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska and I am a proud lifelong Husker! I attended Lincoln High School where I was heavily involved in show choir, theatre, student council, and the International Baccalaureate Program. During my senior year, I started an a cappella choir group at my school which taught me valuable lessons in peer leadership, taking initiative on projects, and efficient problem solving. I also participate in NHRI Leadership Mentoring and serve as a volunteer staffer for Launch Leadership. In my free time, I love to play piano, sing, bake, and spend time with friends and family!
I am pursuing a career in mechanical engineering where I hope to apply my love for math and science in order to create practical solutions to improve people's everyday lives. The things that excite me most about the Kiewit Scholars Program are the internship opportunity and building community within the cohort. I am incredibly excited to learn more about all of the specific markets and projects that Kiewit works on alongside a talented group of scholars and industry leaders.
