I grew up in La Vista, NE after spending a few years of my childhood in Texas and Illinois. At Papillion-La Vista High School, I served as Senior Class President and Student Council President while also participating in National Honors Society, speech and debate, and the powerlifting team. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, baking, and working out. Through my participation in my high school's STEM Academy and the ACE Mentor Omaha program, I realized my desire to explore all the opportunities available within the engineering field. I intend on majoring in mechanical engineering, which will allow me to build off of the leadership, communication, and organizational skills I learned through my extracurriculars. As a Kiewit Scholar, I look forward to expanding my professional network as well as engaging in opportunities such as studying abroad and internships. I aim to use the knowledge I obtain in university and the Kiewit Scholars program to improve the lives of people around the globe.
