I’m from Papillion, Nebraska, and have been a Husker through and through for as long as I can remember. I am a very active and social person, so many of my hobbies include playing or watching sports, such as golf and pickleball, and spending time with friends. In high school, I developed my leadership skills through athletics, where I was a member of the baseball and tennis teams, as well as through my school’s Leadership Academy and serving as a Student Section Leader. I was also a member of the STEM Academy, which sparked my passion for engineering and played a large role in my decision to pursue a degree in electrical engineering. Through the Kiewit Scholars Program, I am looking forward to continuing to develop my leadership skills in the classroom and gaining valuable real-world experience through the summer internship opportunity.
