Hi! I was born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas. Growing up in Overland Park, I have come to greatly enjoy helping others and servicing my community. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a difference! In my time in high school, I accomplished this by being involved in leadership in the Student Council, National Honor Society, recruitment efforts for prospective families, mental health/suicide prevention, and serving as president of Teens for Life Club.
Aside from this, you can find me playing the piano, on the basketball court, going on a run with friends, blasting music with the windows down, or watching Friends on repeat. I am currently majoring in Civil Engineering, and I am most looking forward to the hands-on experience and to studying abroad! I am also very excited for the opportunity to have this unique exposure that the Kiewit Scholar Program will provide.
In the future, I hope to see myself graduated with a PE license—standing in the construction zone watching the differences being made before my eyes.
