I was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and have spent my whole life in the city. I went to Millard West High School where I competed on my school's cross country, track, swim, and basketball teams. I was a part of the Athletic Leadership Academy and represented my teams as I learned how to grow as a leader and a person. I also was a part of my school's Spanish Honor's Society, where I volunteered for various different organizations that supported my community and the city as a whole. I still love to run with my friends for fun and stay active in as many ways as I can, traveling, and exploring and meeting new people from all over.
I am planning to major in Civil Engineering, as well as joining different clubs and societies that encourage people to not only be interested in engineering, but the STEM field as a whole. I hope that with my degree I can have a positive impact wherever I go, as well as inspire others to pursue education in science and math.
I look forward for what Kiewit has to offer me, such as internships and traveling abroad, in order to become a well-rounded engineer.
