I grew up in Kearney, Nebraska, a small city about two hours west of Lincoln. I enjoy traveling, camping, spending time with my family, and working on various carpentry projects. I grew up watching my grandfathers, one a welder and the other a custom carpenter, creating beautiful wood and metal projects. Through them, I ended up learning to love the process of creation. So, naturally, I decided to major in construction engineering.
I am looking forward to the opportunities the Kiewit Scholars Program will give me, whether it's traveling abroad or taking a tour of Kiewit headquarters. Ultimately, I am excited to pave the way for others after me.
