I was born and raised outside of Wellsville, MO. Living in a rural area shaped who I am and I find joy in the little things in life, especially nature. I enjoy traveling across America and admiring the intimidating skyscrapers of urban areas and the plains of the Midwest.
Aside from traveling, I spend time with friends on the golf course, reading, and supporting local businesses. During my time in high school, I was the President of my school's Future Business Leaders of America chapter and an officer in both the Student Council and the National Honor Society. Fortunately, these experiences have taught me valuable leadership qualities that will help guide me towards a successful life.
Outside of school, I was heavily involved in 4-H and community service. I take the most pride in my time spent learning the trade of construction over the last three years at a local construction company, Inline Construction. The work consisted of laying subfloor, installing windows and doors, setting trusses, or in other words, framing new homes across Mid-Missouri. The Kiewit Scholars Program enables me to apply these skills to large-scale projects and become a Complete Engineer.
After receiving my degree in Construction Management, I look forward to the potential opportunity to work for Kiewit on projects across North America and developing and managing real estate properties as a hobby.
