I am currently a Master student at The University of Nebraska studying Architectural Engineering. I am emphasizing in the Electrical side. I am currently an intern at Olsson. I started working for Olsson back in May of 2019. I work out of the Omaha office, and my title is Electrical Student Intern. So far my internship has helped me learn a lot about the industry. It has taught me many things that school has not been able to cover in our curriculum such as, real world examples and problems.

My internship has helped me with my problem solving techniques and my skills with the different programs that are used on a daily basis. I have worked on a variety of different projects both large and small in scale. Some things that my internship has helped me learn more are my skills in Revit, fixing red-lines, developing one-line diagrams, and learned AutoCAD. Before starting this internship, I did not have any experience with the program AutoCAD. Over the last few weeks I have been working in AutoCAD and I have gotten a lot better navigating through the program. My overall understanding of the design process has greatly improved over my time with Olsson in my internship.
