Durham School Annual Scholarship Application

This application and biographical information is for use by The Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction, a unit of the College of Engineering, at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.  It may be used as a source of information on scholarship candidates, as a reference in the preparation of news releases, and for information supplied to scholarship donors.

Important: If you are receiving a Peter Kiewit Foundation scholarship, are a Scott Scholar or Kiewit Scholar, or are receiving other full-ride scholarships, you will be ineligble for Durham School scholarships.  In most other cases, Durham School scholarships can stack with other financial aid but may affect the amount you receive from certain sources.  Before applying, please check the terms and conditions of your current financial aid packages to ensure there will not be any conflicts if awarded a Durham School scholarship.

Graduating Seniors:

1) Most scholarships require full-time enrollment in a Durham School program. If you are a graduating senior and enroll in fewer than 12 credit hours during a semester, your award amount may be prorated based on the number of credit hours enrolled.

2) If you will be graduating in December 2024, any award amount received will be adjusted accordingly and dispersed in the Fall 2024 semester only.

Major GPA is found in Degree Audit (MyRed) and DegreeWorks (MavLink). To find your major GPA in DegreeWorks, click on the "Format:" drop-down box in the top left corner of the page and click on "Registration Checklist" view. On that view there will be section headers for any majors you have and the major GPA will be on the right-hand side of the header.
