Dr. Mansour Abdoli is a full-time instructor and course coordinator at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), where he teaches courses in probability and statistics. In addition, he collaborates with other faculty in different areas, including implementing active-learning techniques in mathematics classes, developing tools for teaching statistics, and providing data analysis support to researchers in other disciplines. As an alum of Nebraska Engineering and a subject matter expert in probability and statistics, Dr. Abdoli collaborates with the Master of Engineering Management (MEM) program at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (UNL) as a content matter expert, course developer, and lecturer.  

Dr. Abdoli has a Ph.D. in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering (IMSE) from UNL, an MS in Statistics from CSUF, and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology. His industry experience spans engineering (design of electrical systems), construction (project engineer in heavy civil construction ), and technology (business application development). He has five years of combined experience in electrical and software engineering, 11 years of experience in heavy civil construction with different Kiewit construction companies in the US and Canada, and has taught probability and statistics at CSUF since 2016. Dr. Abdoli has also served as a statistical consultant to researchers in CSUF and external entities (e.g., CA State Lottery).
