Munir Iqbal is a PhD student and Graduate Research Assistant in Geotechnical and Materials Engineering at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. His research focuses on sustainable construction materials, concrete rheology, and the integration of machine learning in civil engineering applications. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and contributed to funded projects on low carbon binders systems, and industrial waste valorization. Prior to joining UNL, he completed his master’s in civil engineering at GIKI, Pakistan, graduating with a gold medal for outstanding academic and research performance.
