DSST Stapleton High School Outreach in Denver, Co. - Summer 2021

The Durham school is renowned for our close working relationships with private industry partners around the globe. We are excited to announce that in conjunction with private industry partner in Denver we can deliver a totally unique STEM outreach experience to students at the DSST Stapleton High School. A smart combination of semester length job shadow opportunities and in-class curriculum enhancing projects delivered by the professionals means a more prepared high-school graduate. Students will receive answers to their favorite math and science question, “When will I ever use this?” while getting hands-on with their in-class projects.

Working in tandem with the DSST Stapleton High School Job Shadow program, we will pair students appropriately to job shadow opportunities to provide them with real life experience and network connections in their career field of interest. A select number of qualified students will be eligible to visit the Durham School and experience life on the Scott Campus in a 2-day, 3-night summer program.
