I graduated in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. I had considered for a number of years pursuing a master’s degree but, due to life circumstances, never felt that I would have the time to dedicate to it. I was concerned that, under a typical master’s program, it would take up to five years to obtain by taking one class each semester. When I learned about UNL’s accelerated program and being able to complete the program in half the time, I decided to give it a try. I was very pleased with how manageable the classes were. The online format made it easy to participate and contribute. It also allowed me to watch the class lectures and complete the homework assignments on my schedule.
