College of Engineering scholarship provides student with opportunity to ‘learn and grow’ at UNL
Spring 2026
Mechanical engineering major Anna Hadan has her dream job as a robotics and automation specialist already secured. As she reflects on her time at the university, Hadan said she wouldn’t be where she is today without the scholarship she received. “With this scholarship, I could focus on studying and being involved in clubs,” Hadan said. “It’s really been nice to have the opportunities to learn and grow.”
The Department of Mechanical & Materials Engineering provides quality educational programs for undergraduate and graduate students planning careers in mechanical engineering, engineering mechanics or allied fields.
The undergraduate and graduate programs offered by the MME Department prepare students for successful careers and lifelong learning in mechanical engineering or allied fields in which the academic discipline serves as an educational base.
