Qualifying Exam Information for MEAM PhD

Application Deadlines

Preferred Application Deadlines for the M.S. - Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics program and the Ph.D. – Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics program: 

  • Fall: January 15

  • Spring: October 15

  • Summer: January 15

Alternatively, admission is considered on a rolling basis.  Applicants are strongly encouraged to have a faculty advisor identified.

Applicants are cautioned that their applications may not be reviewed in time for the requested entry term (due to funding and travel bans) and may therefore be deferred to a later entry term. Applicants and potential applicants are encouraged to contact Michelle Michl with questions.
