I am a PhD student in Transportation and Highway Engineering at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where my work focuses on improving roadway safety through data-driven research. My primary interests lie in Highway safety analysis, with a growing emphasis on safety at Highway-Railroad at Grade Crossings and highway work zone safety analysis. I hold a Master's, Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (USA) with specialization in Transportation Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (Pakistan). I bring several years of professional experience managing highway construction and transportation infrastructure projects in both national and international contexts, including with the United Nations and the Military Engineer Services.
I’m particularly passionate about integrating geo-spatial tools and statistical models to analyze crash data and support safer, more efficient transportation networks. My technical skill set includes transportation safety modeling, GIS, and applied statistical analysis. I’m also an active student member of ASCE and ITE, and I’m excited to contribute to advancing transportation safety through both academic research and professional collaboration.
