The Office of Admissions hosts a variety of on-campus visits—half-days and full-days; weekdays and weekends—so your family can have the flexibility to choose your ideal visit experience.

The best way to get a preview of all you can accomplish at Nebraska is to experience it for yourself! During your visit, you'll see the spots on campus where you'll spend time studying, living, collaborating, building friendships and making core memories. Plus, learn more about student involvement opportunities and important admission, scholarship and financial aid information.

Engineering Open House Visits

Explore our state-of-the-art engineering facilities and interact with professors and current students to discover what’s possible at Nebraska Engineering! Open House visits are offered on City Campus and East Campus in Lincoln, as well as Scott Campus in Omaha.

Open house events allow students and families to explore academic programs after hours. Tour college facilities while also learning more about majors, resources and student organizations.

Husker STEM VR

Prospective University of Nebraska-Lincoln students no longer need to set foot in Kiewit Hall to explore the College of Engineering’s new headquarters, thanks to a team of students in the School of Computing’s Senior Design program.

Husker STEM VR is an interactive virtual reality app and university outreach tool that allows prospective students to explore academic programs, opportunities, and key locations on campus. The latest version of the app includes new gaming features, more information about the College of Engineering, and a tour of the college’s homebase in Kiewit Hall.
