Construction Management Students Qualify for National Championships

Four teams of University of Nebraska-Lincoln construction management students were among the top competitors at the Associated Schools of Construction Region IV Conference and Competition. 

The competition was held Oct. 26-29 in Nebraska City. UNL teams placed in the following divisions:Heavy Highway-1st place (Lincoln), qualification for the 2007 National Association of Home Builders national competition in San Antonio; 
Residential-2nd place (Lincoln), qualification for the NAHB national competition in Orlando, Fla.; 
Design-Build-tie for 1st place (Omaha), tentative qualification for the NAHB national competition in San Antonio; and 
Commercial-2nd place (Omaha). 
ASC is a professional organization whose mission is to develop and advance construction education and promote excellence in curricula, teaching, research and service.
