Introduction to Engineering Design and Civil Engineering and Architecture

What inspired you to become the PLTW instructor?:

I was teaching Drafting and Computer Aided Design for a number of years and had always hoped that there would be a better curriculum that captured the essence of how fast the world of CAD was changing and how central CAD was becoming to the world of Engineering. PLTW was the curriculum that best fit that bill.

Explain the impact the PLTW curriculum program has had your students?:

PLTW has positively impacted my students by making them more aware of the many ways that math is integral to Engineering and design. The excellent Power Points and hands-on projects are also a great means of helping them understand the concepts of design.
