Jagriti received a Bachelors of Engineering with Honours in Civil Engineering from Panjab University in 2016, followed by a Masters degree in Environmental Management of Rivers and Lakes with First Division from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in 2019. She received the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India fellowship during her Masters. In her thesis work, she developed a geostatistical model for the determination of the Soil Organic Carbon and visualizing the impacts of climate change. She also developed a soil erosion model using SWAT. After completing her masters, she decided to broaden her knowledge and attain an expertise in the field of research. She joined as a research scholar in Department of Water Resource Development and Management at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in 2019.  She is receiving MHRD fellowship for her PhD programme. She is currently working on the creating a flood water management system where its resilience to the current and future climate changes will be validated by the use of data mining and machine learning techniques.
