About Me:
Noordiah Helda is a Fulbright Scholar from Indonesia. She is awarded the PhD Fulbright-DIKTI grant for the period of 2015-2018. It is a joint program for Doctoral studies in the USA for Indonesia Directorate of Higher Education (aka DIKTI) Faculty and Staff. Noordiah is a faculty member at University of Lambung Mangkurat, South Kalimantan Province in Indonesia. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering Department from Gadjah Mada University, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Her master degree was earned from UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education in Delft, the Netherlands with a specialization in Hydrology and Water Resources. Upon the completion of her degree program, she returned to her institution and actively joined some researches related to her specialization. Some of them have been published in National and International Seminars in the form of Proceeding and Poster.
Noordiah Helda is currently a PhD student in the Civil Engineering Department of UNL with a specialization in Water Resources Engineering. Her areas of interest are Hydrology and Water Resources with emphasis on Flooding events using GIS and Remote Sensing.
