GC called the Hensel Phelps Orlando office “an industry leader in both the public and private sectors, providing real estate development, construction, and facilities management services to support client needs. Mike Choutka, CEO and president of Hensel Phelps, was also recognized by GC Magazine for overseeing all company operations and business activities as well as advancing employee engagement.
Choutka, who joined Hensel Phelps right out of college, graduated from the College of Engineering with a degree in construction management engineering in 1991. He was appointed Hensel Phelps President and CEO in 2019 after serving as executive vice president and COO. Previously, Choutka served in many capacities at Hensel Phelps, including as a field engineer, office engineer, project engineer, project manager and regional vice president.
