Karleen accepted a full-time engineering position in Eddyville, Iowa with Cargill. She loved her co-op there last year and looks forward to re-joining the team.
Who/What has inspired you during your college career?
Karleen's family and my fellow students. Her family has encouraged her through the toughest exam weeks and the most exciting academic trips, and she is thankful for their support. The fellow students/friends she has made have continually showed her their strength and passion, inspiring her to do her best.
The best thing about being a Husker is...
The connections you are able to make. Though her department, various student organizations, and church, Karleen has been able to make many incredible friends and find excellent mentors during her time as a Husker. The education she received is valuable for her future, but building relationships that will last a lifetime and the memories that came along with that is what made her experience truly worthwhile.
