Nebraska Engineering nets six faculty, six students among NCGT Fellows

The Nebraska Governance and Technology Center announced its new University of Nebraska-Lincoln fellows, selecting six College of Engineering faculty and six Nebraska Engineering graduate students to those classes.

The NCGT is an interdisciplinary team of faculty, students, and researchers from four colleges at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln - Engineering, Business, Law, and Journalism and Mass Communications - that studies the ever-changing relationship between law and technology, how the law can regulate technology, and how new technologies affect the law. 

Faculty Fellows are academics with an interdisciplinary inclination who are interested in the challenges of changing technology and are drawn from across the university. The program also includes a smaller number of visiting fellows from other institutions.

The goal of the NGTC’s Student Fellows initiative is to familiarize students with the nuances of working with professionals from other academic backgrounds, incorporating their diverse perspectives and vocabularies in order to better inform their own work.
