As a civil engineer with a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, Pridal applies a diverse skill set to drive strategic progress in varying STEM settings: such as her long-term commitment to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering (advisory board and chair of the scholarship committee) and Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (former advisory board chair and member).

As a female STEM catalyst, she is passionate about mentoring, supporting, and recruiting diverse minds and change-makers into the STEM field. She poignantly understands that STEM professionals are imperative to America’s capacity for innovation, creativity, and global competitiveness. As a result, under her leadership, Lamp Rynearson is a champion of equity and diversity, challenging the norms while driving profitability.

In the heartland, Nancy seeks to cultivate the next generation of STEM change-makers and reduce traditional gaps. She is leading the way on this with her continued commitment to increase the impact of Lamp Rynearson’s Civil Engineering Scholarship at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering – with considerations to a candidate’s economic disadvantages, neighborhood and community circumstances, and the impact of cultural experiences, backgrounds, and unique talents.
