Ben plans to work for his family business in Lincoln, Nebraska. He will be working as a residential project manager, with hopes of owning his own business one day.
Who/What has inspired you during your college career?
Benjamin Karsting has been inspired by, the instructors within the Construction Management program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, as they have pushed each and every student to be the best they can be. From lectures, individual assignments, to group projects, the construction management students have spent hundreds of hours preparing for our future in construction. With the instructors bringing their industry experience to the table, it really helped students clearly understand the construction process, the management aspect of working as a project manager or superintendent, and ultimately how to be successful within the construction industry.
The best thing about being a Husker is...
The access to resources and opportunities at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is second to none. Within the construction management program, all instructors have had industry experience and that is extremely helpful when prepping for the next level. Ben is extremely grateful for the construction management program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and is looking forward to his next venture. As always, GO BIG RED!
