In the spring of 2025, the Durham School is gearing up to celebrate the Golden Anniversary of its Construction Program, which has played a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of construction education for over 55 years. The Golden Anniversary celebration is slated to take place in April 2025 at the school's new home on the City campus in Lincoln: the state-of-the-art Kiewit Hall.
The school is now actively seeking nominations for Alum Luminaries: graduates who have made significant contributions to the construction industry and exemplify the program's legacy. Individuals are encouraged to nominate themselves, colleagues, or former classmates who have graduated from the construction programs in Lincoln or Omaha. Nominations can be made in recognition of a wide range of achievements, including professional accomplishments, community involvement, and dedication to advancing the principles of construction education. The link for submitting nominations for this special recognition is now open: https://durhamschool.link/luminary-nominations .
The Golden Anniversary celebration at Kiewit Hall in spring 2025 will be a memorable experience, offering a platform for alumni, current students, faculty, and industry professionals to come together and celebrate the Construction Program's enduring legacy. Attendees can anticipate engaging activities, insightful discussions, and a chance to reconnect with fellow alumni. More information will be shared in the coming months.
