  1. Three of the six elective credits must be technical elective in AE, CIVE, or some other department, as approved by the student's academic advisor.
  2. Students in the structural option must select CIVE 846 Steel Design II as one of their technical electives. Students in the mechanical/acoustics option must choose one of the following as one of their technical electives:  AREN 8110 Indoor Air Quality Engineering; AREN 8330 Adv. Architectural Acoustics; or, AREN 8350 Electro-Acoustics, or course approved by Graduate Committee Chair.
  3. This course is a required summer offering. If a student cannot find an internship it can be replaced by a technical elective.
  4. General Technical Elective can be anything from the Technical Elective list, but could also be a course from the following:  MEM; Accounting; Construction;
