ECE's Bauer, students find 'MacGyver'-like inspiration

With a 3-D printer and a treasure trove of objects in his office, Mark Bauer, professor of practice in electrical and computer engineering, is helping his students find inventive solutions to problems, much like the lead character in the rebooted CBS drama series, "MacGyver."
