WES CAMMACK #82 Wes Cammack, a junior majoring in agricultural engineering, plays at the "Z" receiver position and on the Huskers' special teams. Cammack carries a 3.974 cumulative grade-point average, has been a UNL Regents Scholar, and was named to the first-team academic All-Big 12 in 2007. |
A senior construction management major, wide receiver Nate Swift has built a solid record with the Huskers: third in career receiving yards (1,535) and fourth in Nebraska career receptions (103). He also has multiple appearances in the Big 12 Commissioner's Academic Honor Rolls. |
Blackshirt Tyler Wortman, a senior mechanical engineering major from Grand Island, progressed from a redshirt freshman to the top of the depth chart at Buck linebacker, while keeping a 3.955 cumulative grade-point average. This fall Wortman earned the Brook Berringer Scholarship, honoring a football student-athlete demonstrating community service along with "high ideals, excellent character and integrity." Wortman is part of the Huskers' Brook Berringer Citizenship Team, as well as a member of the 2007 First Team Academic All-Big 12 and has been named eight times to the Big 12 Commissioner's Academic Honor Rolls. |
Jacob Hickman is a junior civil engineering major who moves mountains on the Huskers' offensive line. A native of Bakersfield, Calif., he has volunteered with Nebraska's hospital visits. |
Junior construction management major and Blackshirt defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is known on the field for being a run-stopper and for applying pressure to opposing quarterbacks. Suh is from Portland, Ore., where he also played basketball and was a track standout for Grant High. At Nebraska, Suh has volunteered with local hospital visits. |
Curenski Gilleylen is a sophomore receiver from Leander, Texas, who majors in civil engineering and carries a 3.282 grade-point average. He has volunteered at Lincoln's F Street Recreation Center, Legacy Retirement Center and on the Huskers' team hospital visits. He was named to the 2008 Big 12 Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll. |
Alex Henery is a sophomore majoring in construction management and is Nebraska's starting place kicker. This Omaha native has participated in the Huskers' hospital visits. |
Micah Kreikemeier, from West Point, Neb., is a sophomore civil engineering major, adding depth as a linebacker for the Huskers. He is also accomplished in the classroom, carrying a 4.0 grade-point average. |
Luke Lingenfelter, a sophomore biological systems engineering major, is a defensive end from Plainview. He carries a 3.455 cumulative grade-point average and was named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in his first two semesters at UNL. Luke's cousin, Newton Lingenfelter, finished his Husker career as an offensive lineman in 2006. |
