I serve as the Student Retention and Success Coordinator for the College of Engineering, joining ESS in 2021. My role is to develop, implement, manage, and assess the student retention and success efforts for the college. I work closely with all other programs in ESS, helping to support their mission of serving students as effectively as possible.
As part of this role, I work directly with all College of Engineering students on both the Lincoln and Omaha campuses; helping them to overcome any challenges they may face big or small. Students and parents are welcome to reach out to me at any time at the email below.
Prior to joining ESS I have served as an Academic Advisor for the College of Education and Human Sciences from 2013-2021, and as an Academic Advisor for the College of Business from 2009-2013. My background in advising has allowed me to understand how diverse the pathways to a college degree can be, where students face challenges on their unique paths, and how to best support them as they reach graduation.
In my free time I am an avid and passionate fly fisherman, and I co-teach an Intro to Fly Fishing class each spring through the UNL Campus Rec. I enjoy spending time with my three children, and cheering on the Huskers. I am originally from Hildreth, NE.
