Our team at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has multiple Ph.D. positions available to be filled in Spring or Fall 2024 for several projects in the broad area of computational biomechanics and microfluidics. We collaborate extensively with research groups across US and Europe to develop and employ advanced computational tools for understanding complex processes in biomechanics and microfluidics.
Students will earn their degree in either Biomedical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Students with interest in numerical methods, fluid-solid mechanics, and high-performance computing are specially encouraged to apply.
