The Intelligent Device-2–Applications (iDEA) laboratory is looking for excellent candidates for Ph.D. positions in the School of Computing. - Computer Architecture;
- FPGAs and Hardware Coding Skills (Such as VHDL/Verilog);
- Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Design; and
Some experience in one of the following areas will be considered an advantage:
- Hardware design for machine learning, and neuromorphic computing;
- Energy-harvesting and intermittent computing systems;
- Low-power and reliability-aware VLSI circuits;
- Machine learning: theoretical analysis or application experience;
- FPGA machine learning acceleration engineer; and/or
- Implementation attacks: side-channel analysis and fault attacks.
