Dr. Shuai Nie in the School of Computing (with a courtesy appointment in the ECE department) has a GRA opening for Ph.D. students in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related programs with academic and research backgrounds in wireless communications and signal processing.
This GRA will work on a project that aims to design and prototype a wireless broadband testbed for terrestrial and satellite communication networks. The prototyped testbed will be tested at UNL research farms for the application of smart livestock management.
