The College of Engineering is up 5.5 percent in students and reached a historic high of 3,413 undergraduate students this fall, according to UNL fall enrollment data. The 3,413 undergraduate students extends the college’s 11-year enrollment growth trend and is 178 more students this year than the previous high of 3,235 undergraduate students, which was set last year.
Overall UNL student enrollment for the fall was 23,600, a decrease of 0.9 percent (205 students) from 2022. However, UNL’s first-time freshmen grew more than 1 percent from 2022 to 4,699 students.
