Students congregate on the 2nd floor of Kiewit Hall during the VEX UNL Robotics Tournament.
In February, hundreds of high school students displayed their robotics skills at the 2024 UNL VEX Robotics Tournament in Kiewit Hall. Billed as the “Beginning of a New Tradition,” the competition featured 62 teams from three states and 23 schools and organizations.
230 students participated (19 percent were freshmen, 27 percent sophomores, 25 percent juniors and 29 percent seniors)
11 awards presented
119 volunteers
14 registered College of Engineering student organizations were present as family/guests also attended recruitment sessions along with tours of the engineering complex.
